Thank you for visiting Fall-line Photography.

My work life has long been associated to imaging; many of my technical skills were honed during my years in the Royal Air Force engaged in Fast Jet Tactical Reconnaissance - my career saw the transition from wet film operations to use of digital sensors and all the dramatic changes in both equipment and processes associated to the step change in technology.

Since retirement from the military, my photographic endeavours are delivered through a DSLR slung over my shoulder rather than a digital recce pod slung beneath a warplane. Although somewhat more sedate, the adrenalin of capturing the beauty and unpredictability of nature is no less - indeed probably more so - than identifying machines of military might.

Fall-line Photography | Philosophy
At times my travels across the globe have made me shudder when confronting the impacts that mankind are having on the natural world. The Fall-line philosophy is to take beautiful images and give back to nature; by donating 50% of all profits from the sale of my photographs to wildlife-related causes, I hope in some small way to contribute to safeguarding the wildlife and environments that we, as a species, are putting at risk.

Thank you for your support.
